Sofia Richie shows off battle scar after accident on luxury vacation

Sofia Richie suffered a nasty black eye after an accident on vacation, although, it didn’t stop the star from showing off her chic Chanel outfit on the gram. Of course, fans were concerned about her injury at first look, but the star seemingly confirmed what happened in her short, but effective caption.

The 24-year-old is currently vacationing with her husband Elliot Grainge, three months after their extravagant wedding in the South of France. In true Sofia style, she’s constantly keeping her 10.4 million Instagram followers updated with vacation snaps, although we’re getting serious holiday envy over here.

Although Sofia happened to suffer a nasty accident whilst on vacation, it didn’t stop her from showing off her knitted Chanel maxi dress over on Instagram, which she paired with a matching black bag.

The visible bruising under her eyes didn’t go amiss, as she also posted a close-up video of the injury a few slides later.

In the caption, Sofia Richie wrote: “Wakeboard: 1, Sof: 0.”

However, the star has not yet gone into detail on the ins and outs of the wakeboarding accident which left her with a black eye.

Fans say the star still ‘slays’ despite her injury

Despite the heavy bruising fans thought the 24-year-old still ‘slayed’, as some were so distracted by her outfit, they didn’t notice it at all.

“Sofia got a black eye so now I will punch myself in the eye,” joked one fan, to which the model replied: “Lmfao I just spit out my water.”

“Still cute as always,” wrote another.

One penned: “Even with the bruise you still slay queen.”

“Battle scar! You’ll beat that wakeboard on the next encounter!” exclaimed one encouraging fan.

Sofia calls Elliot her ‘adventure buddy’

Aside from her accident, it looks like Sofia’s having a great time on her ‘baecation’ with new husband Elliot Grainge as she calls him her ‘adventure buddy.’

The model posted a cute snap embracing her husband in the water, and floating across the sea together on a wakeboard, presumably before she had her unfortunate accident.

Elliot and Sofia were first linked in 2021, and tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in April 2023. According to these cute snaps, it looks like the pair are still in their honeymoon phase, and fans are living for it.

Fans even want an Elliot of their own as one questioned: “Where does one find an Elliot? Asking for a friend.”
