The Real Madrid superstar will be hoping for a repeat performance when his team faces Morocco in the second game of the group stage later today. Ahead of the match, Morocco fans have been taunting Ronaldo’s 22-year-old girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez by posting messages on her Instagram page. On Tuesday the Spanish model posted a picture of herself poisoning with a Portugal flag and a plastic World Cup trophy as she celebrated her child's birthday.

In the comments section, Morocco fans had a field day, inundating her with posts about Wednesday’s World Cup showdown against Portugal. One posted: “Morocco 2-0 Portugal okay.” A second said: “Morocco will win Portugal.” Some Morocco supporters even pleaded with Georgina to persuade Ronaldo not to play in the Group B game at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. A Morocco fan begged: “My beautiful lady, know I love you from Morocco. Ask your husband our hero CR7 to not play tomorrow against my country.”

In response, Portugal fans posted emojis of their national flag and messages of support for the former Manchester United ace. “CR7 ronaldo will score two goals,” one wrote. Someone else posted: “Portugal go.” Ronaldo first started dating Georgina in 2016 after the model caught his eye at a VIP event at a Dolce & Gabbana event in Madrid, Spain.

Georgina, who worked at a Gucci store in Madrid, studied dance and English in London but started pursuing a career in modelling when she moved to Spain. In November last year, Georgina gave birth to Ronaldo’s fourth child, Alana Martina.
