I’m slightly obsessed with summer. Case-in-point: I live on the East Coast, and probably 75 percent of my wardrobe is pretty much unwearable when the temperature dips below 70. In addition to a closet full of sundresses, tennis skirts, and tanks, and two drawers brimming with bikinis, I own a lot — and I mean an excessive amount  — of sandals. Of all the cushy options I own, there is one pair that has become a repeat offender during the summer months: The Freedom Moses Slide.

We had one major complaint about Woo Cheong Tea House, the new Cantonese restaurant by the Classified Group, which takes the place of The Pawn in Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island – the menu. Whoever thought it was a good idea to have a small, thin, sans-serif font in red printed on pink paper was wrong, wrong, wrong. It might work during the day, but at night – with the restaurant’s dim lighting – it was very difficult to make out.

UPDATE: A train derailment closed a road in Davenport on Wednesday. Concord Street was shut down after 21 cars derailed. Crews were out with cranes inspecting the fallen rail cars. “A train operating at slow speed in CPKC’s Nahant Yard in Davenport derailed 21 cars Tuesday evening,” a spokesperson for CPKC told Local 4 News. “There were no injuries, no spills of any hazardous materials and there is no threat to public safety.
