Astrid Wett in 'stable condition' as fans slam 'cringe WWE stunt' with Alexia Grace
Astrid Wett is expected to make a full recovery after being slammed through a table – as fans called out the ‘cringe WWE stunt’.
Wett was attacked by boxing rival Alexia Grace ahead of their grudge match, which was due to take place at a gym in London on Saturday night. A clip emerged of the pair getting into a slanging match prior to the showdown, with Wett pushing Grace and slapping her across the face. Grace responded by smashing Wett through a nearby table.
Wett's official Twitter account then posted a picture of the adult content creator strapped to a bed while seemingly receiving oxygen in the back of an ambulance. It was soon confirmed the boxing match had been called off as a result.
A statement on Wett's account read: "Astrid is in stable condition. Please respect her and her teams privacy at this time. Astrid's management."

However, they later added: "Thank you everyone for your concern. Astrid is going to be fine - she’s expected to make a full recovery. We appreciate your support so much."
However, many fans weren’t convinced by the scenes, with some slamming it as ‘cringe’ and akin to WWE.
